Product Description

  • Expertly cut from the bottom sirloin, these ball tip sizzlers offer a flavorful steak experience, but they are very lean and benefit from marination to enhance tenderness. Ball tip steaks are also known as sirloin tip steaks or round tip steaks. These are wet-aged a minimum of 21 days and jaccarded three times to ensure a very tender steak, a needling process for tenderness.
  • USDA Select is the most prevalent USDA grade, lean and fairly flavorful with a moderately firm bite.
  • Marinate the steaks and season with salt and pepper when they are ready to cook. Heat a heavy pan and sear on both sides until desired doneness. Let rest, slice against the grain and serve with the pan juices drizzled over the top.
  • They are delicious if marinated well and grilled or pan seared. The steaks do not want to be cooked more than medium-rare for the best tenderness. They are best when sliced thinly across the grain after cooking.
