Product Description
- Green beans are delicious picked right off the vine but are available fresh only during harvest time. These green beans are harvested in time to ensure tenderness, sweetness, good color and small seed development. The beans are French-cut, which means they are sliced lengthwise.
- These beans are the Blue Lake variety and are a bright, deep green in color. Larger sieved beans are used for this product. Sieve size measures the circumference of the beans; the higher the size, the higher the bean grade.
- These beans are ready to heat and serve. They are ideal as a side dish or in soups, stews or salads.
- The beans hold up well on the steam table or chafing dish. Present them on the buffet with sauteed onions and bacon added for additional flavor.
