Product Description

  • This canned, fancy tomato puree is made from delicious, vine-ripened Midwest tomatoes. It is thick and rich with a deep, robust color and flavor, providing a reliable base or extender for a variety of dishes.
  • This high-quality puree is perfect for soups, stews, sauces or any other dish where tomato flavor is called for. It's a favorite in Italian and Mexican restaurants.
  • For a simple pasta sauce, sautee garlic and onion, and brown some ground beef if desired. Simmer for a couple of minutes, then add parsley, oregano, basil and salt. For some zip, throw in a few red pepper flakes. For additional flavor, texture and nutrition, include vegetables like zucchini, black olives, fennel, eggplant, celery, carrots or mushrooms. Grilled vegetables are ideal.
  • It is produced with just a touch of natural peel and seed.
  • The puree is provided in economical 105-ounce, #10 cans packed in corrugate. There are six, cans per case.
