Product Description
- Second in tenderness only to the tenderloin, these masterfully crafted flat iron steaks are well marbled and juicy, with the deep, rich flavor of a sirloin.
- Similar to skirt or flank steak, flat iron is best when grilled over high, dry heat, especially if it's a thin cut. It takes well to marinades, herbed butters and savory seasonings.
- This steak is jaccarded one time, a needling process for tenderization.
- Flat iron is cut from the top blade of the beef chuck shoulder. The internal gristle is seamed and trimmed out, and surface fat is trimmed to 0.25 inches or less.
- USDA Choice is a high USDA grade, with ample marbling. The meat is quite tender, juicy and flavorful.
- These 22-ounce steaks are individually packed, 10 per case. Shaped packaging preserves the form of the steak.
