Product Description

  • Angus beef offers exceptional tenderness and outstanding flavor. Derived from the short loin portion of the beef hindquarter, these grass-fed striploins are lean, tender and flavorful. They are wet-aged for 21 days for tenderness. The fat is trimmed to 1/4 inch and one-inch tail.
  • Typically striploins are cut into striploin steaks, such as the New York strip, but they can be cooked as a succulent and elegant roast.
  • USDA Choice is a high USDA grade, with ample marbling, and it is quite tender, juicy and flavorful.
  • Roast the striploin and present as a sliced entree. Rub the loin with a mixture of garlic and herbs, and roast it in the oven until its internal temperature registers 130 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare. Let rest and slice. Serve with sauteed mushrooms and crusty bread.
  • Striploin steaks are delicious whether prepared on the grill, pan-seared or oven baked. Season simply with salt and pepper and pan sear them to desired doneness. Serve with pan juices.
