Product Description

  • This domestically-grown, vibrantly-green spinach is harvested, cleaned, chopped into 1/4-inch squares, steam-blanched and frozen within eight hours to lock in the color and nutrients. Full of fresh flavor, the spinach is easy to prepare, saving you time and labor while providing your customers with a consistently high-quality product any time of year.
  • The chopped spinach is an ideal ingredient in quiche, soups, casseroles, omelets, dips and salads.
  • For an easy, flavorful side dish, saute the thawed spinach in olive oil with garlic powder. Then add white wine or chicken broth, salt and pepper and simmer so the liquid evaporates a little.
  • The spinach is rated U.S. Grade A because it has good character, flavor and aroma.
  • There are 12, 48-ounce packages per case. Before use, thaw overnight under refrigeration or running water. Store frozen for up to 730 days.
