- These bright-green baby lima beans deliver a smooth, creamy and sweet flavor, making them ideal for wholesome, homestyle dishes. Uniform in size, the beans are easy to prepare.
- Simply place the poly bag of frozen beans into boiling water and cook until tender. There's no need to thaw. You'll save time and labor while providing your customers with a consistently high-quality product any time of year.
- Perfect for all foodservice segments, lima beans make a great substitute for potatoes or rice. You can add them to casseroles, soups or stocks, or serve them as a side dish. They also hold well on a steam table or buffet.
- For a southern-style side dish, cook bacon and onion, add brown sugar and cook until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the cooked lima beans so they are completely coated, and add salt and pepper.
- The beans are rated U.S. Grade A because they are tender and offer good flavor and color. They are practically defect free.
- There are 12, 40-ounce poly-bag packages per case. Each bag contains a mix of 95% baby lima beans and 5% pale lima beans. The beans are individually quick-frozen to ensure freshness and enable easy separation.
- Store frozen for up to a year.
