- This domestically-grown vegetable blend is a colorful combination of diced carrots and green peas. The carrots are diced into uniformly sized, 3/8-inch cubes. The blend comes to you ready to serve, saving you time and labor while providing your customers with a consistently high-quality product any time of year.
- Perfect for all foodservice segments, the blend is mainly served as a side dish and is also used as an ingredient.
- For a classic comfort food, this blend makes it easy to prepare peas and carrots in cream sauce. For the sauce, add flour, salt and pepper to melted butter to make a roux. Cook for about one minute. Gradually whisk in milk and heat to a boil, then add dill and cook until thickened. Pour the cream sauce over the drained and heated vegetables and combine.
- The vegetables are rated U.S. Grade A, so you can be assured of consistency and the highest quality. The blend includes no artificial ingredients -- just peas, water, carrots, sugar and salt.
- There are six, 105-ounce #10 cans per case. Each can contains 24 half-cup servings.
- Store in a cool, dry place for up to 730 days.
