Product Description
- This finely ground powdered sugar has a fresh, clean sweetness and fluffy texture. Use it in baked goods, icings, frostings and fillings, as well as for decoration. Also called confectioners' sugar, powdered sugar provides a denser consistency in baked goods than larger-crystal granulated sugar.
- Powdered sugar easily dissolves in liquid, so it makes creamy icings and frostings. You can also lightly dust it over desserts, baked items and fruit for added sweetness and an attractive presentation.
- It takes just three ingredients to make tasty shortbread cookies. Simply cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add flour and continue to mix until a soft dough is formed. Roll the dough to 1/4-inch-thick on a surface dusted with powdered sugar. Cut into rounds and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the cookies are pale golden brown.
- Corn starch is added as a moisture-absorbing anti-caking agent to prevent the formation of lumps.
- The sugar is bulk-packaged in a case with a reclosable inner liner for easy storage and handling. The cases stack more easily and efficiently than bagged sugar. There are 25 pounds of sugar per case.
- Store in a cool, dry place for up to 180 days.
